One of the best places to visit in Nashville is 12 South. There are so many things to do in this area and I want to share some of my favorites with you!
Five Daughter’s Bakery
Five Daughter’s is a doughnut shop in the 12 South area. There are so many unique doughnuts to choose from and they even have a few gluten free options! My go-to doughnut choice at this bakery is the Vanilla Cream!
Draper James is Reese Witherspoon’s boutique and one of my all-time favorite stores. I love this store for many reasons but the main reason is that I love Reese! She is the epitome of the perfect Southern Belle and has the best style. The store has a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by someone and offered a sweet tea! It is such a charming experience!
White’s Mercantile is an upscale general store with home goods and apparel. It’s a fun place to stop by on a trip to 12 South because they are frequently bringing in new products.
Bartaco is (surprise, surprise) a taco restaurant on 12 South. This is a very trendy spot and has both outdoor and indoor seating. The tacos are amazing and only about $3 each! I highly recommend the Baja Fish Taco and the guacamole is a must. Make sure to save room for dessert because the churros are delicious as well!
Franklin Juice Co.
I have recently joined the juice bar trend and was so excited to find one in 12 South! I have been three times since I moved here and have gotten an açaí bowl all three times. It’s such a healthy treat and is pretty filling which is always nice! Franklin Juice Co. has six bowls to choose from and each one is very unique. I recommend the “standard bowl” which includes açaí, frozen strawberries, frozen bananas, apple juice, granola, fresh strawberries, fresh banana, raw coconut, Goji berries and raw honey. My goal is to try all six bowls before I leave Nashville!
